DanskAI Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: 23 May 2026
Our commitment
DanskAI is committed to making our platform accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
What we have done
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields, modals) are reachable and operable using a keyboard alone.
- Screen reader support: We use semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks, labels, and descriptions throughout the application. Interactive components use
role,aria-label,aria-labelledby, andaria-describedbyattributes where appropriate. - Skip to content: A "Skip to main content" link is provided at the top of every page to allow keyboard and screen-reader users to bypass navigation.
- Touch targets: Interactive elements on mobile meet the minimum 44 × 44 px touch target size recommended by WCAG 2.5.5.
- Focus management: Focus is managed correctly when modals and dialogs open and close, trapping focus within the active component.
- Colour and contrast: UI components use design tokens calibrated against WCAG AA contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for text, 3:1 for large text). Information is never conveyed by colour alone.
- Reduced motion: We respect the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query. Animations are suppressed for users who have requested reduced motion in their OS settings. - Theme support: Light and dark themes are available and respect the user's system preference by default.
- Responsive design: The application is fully usable at zoom levels up to 400% without loss of content or functionality (WCAG 1.4.4 Resize Text).
- Form labels: All form inputs have visible, programmatically associated labels. Required fields are clearly indicated.
Known limitations
We continuously test and improve accessibility. At the time of this review, no significant known barriers to WCAG 2.1 AA compliance have been identified. If you encounter a problem, please let us know using the contact details below.
Assistive technology tested
We aim to support the following assistive technology combinations:
- NVDA + Chrome (Windows)
- VoiceOver + Safari (macOS and iOS)
- TalkBack + Chrome (Android)
- Keyboard-only navigation (all major browsers)
