Prøve i Dansk 3 (PD3) — practice, grading & exam prep
Prøve i Dansk 3 is the B2-level Danish exam most internationals need for permanent residency, citizenship and university admission. PD3 has its own task types and genres — they are not the same as the Danskuddannelse 3 module tests you sit along the way. DanskAI gives you AI-graded writing practice on the real PD3 delprøver (an informal email and a societal-topic essay), a speaking simulator, and reading exercises calibrated to the real exam.
- AI-graded skriftlig fremstilling on the two real PD3 writing tasks: an informal email and a societal-topic essay
- PD3 reading exercises across all four delprøver — short-answer, multiple-choice, gapped-text and cloze
- Speaking practice with an AI examiner (text or voice), covering both the prepared and unprepared delprøve
- Vocabulary captured from your practice writing, revised with spaced repetition
- Track your readiness percentage across reading, writing and speaking

Before DanskAI
Jeg synes at det er en god ide at lukke biblioteket fordi mange mennesker bruger det ikke.
After DanskAI
Jeg synes, at det er en dårlig idé at lukke biblioteket, fordi mange mennesker stadig bruger det.
Explanation
Missing comma before "at" and "fordi" (ledsætninger), wrong word order in the negation, and "ide" → "idé". These are exactly the kinds of details PD3 examiners mark you down for in skriftlig fremstilling.
What is Prøve i Dansk 3?
Prøve i Dansk 3 (PD3) is the highest of the three Prøve i Dansk exams. It tests Danish at CEFR B2 level and has a written part (a reading-comprehension test and a written-production test) and a spoken part (mundtlig kommunikation). PD3 is the standard requirement for Danish citizenship, permanent residency in many cases, and entry into Danish universities for international students. PD3 is not the same test as the Danskuddannelse 3 module tests (modultests) you take along the way — the module tests use different task types and cover lower CEFR bands. Always check which one a practice set is for.
PD3 reading — four delprøver, four different skills
• Delprøve 1: a set of informational texts (~10 pages) with 15 short-answer questions — fast scanning for specific facts • Delprøve 2A: one informing/argumentative text (~1.5 pages) with 3 multiple-choice questions in chronological order — careful global reading • Delprøve 2B: one informing/argumentative text (~2.5 pages) with 5 removed paragraphs to place back correctly (plus 2 distractor paragraphs) — careful global reading • Delprøve 3: one informing/argumentative text (~1.5 pages) with 8 removed words or phrases, each a 4-option multiple-choice question — careful local reading and precise vocabulary
PD3 writing — the two real tasks
• Delprøve 1: an informal email reply to a friend about an everyday topic — telling, describing, explaining and justifying • Delprøve 2: a connected text of at least 200 words on a general or societal topic. You choose task A or B, each with three points to cover (for example: describe the facts, explain the causes, and discuss pros and cons) DanskAI generates PD3-style prompts in both genres and grades your response on the official criteria: kommunikation, indhold, sprog and tekstopbygning.
PD3 speaking — prepared and unprepared
• Delprøve 1: a ~2-minute prepared presentation on a societal topic you receive a week before the exam, followed by the examiner's questions about it • Delprøve 2: an unprepared topic drawn on the day, with two examiner-led question rounds asking you to explain, justify and take a position
